I'm a Registered Nurse, Tongue Tie Practitioner, Breastfeeding Counsellor and Reflux and Colic guru, specialising in underlying causes, and a holisitc approach to all things unsettled baby.
Why unsettled babies?
Because I've lived it. I am you. I'm a mama to a fiery toddler, Mali.
She is now thriving and runs rings around me. But It wasn't always the way. She was born at the start of the pandemic following a traumatic birth. With difficulties breastfeeding, along with Tongue Tie, tension and multiple allergies, I was left feeling alone with a baby stuck on medication who was far from happy.
Why Tongue Tie?
Tongue Tie is much more than just "cut and a run, job done". I'm incredibly passionate about how the tongue can affect so much more than infant feeding. I have trained with the prestigious Carmelle Gentle, where I've learned more than just how to divide a tie.
Alongside my training in Tongue Tie assessment and division, I have also completeled my breastfeeding counsellor training to further support my infant feeding knowledge. Having infant feeding knowledge, is key when working with oral restrictions. And here I am, with a passion and drive to help you, stronger than I ever dreamed of.
I live, breathe and sleep all things Tongue Tie, reflux, colic, feeding, and unsettled baby. I got you. I hear you. I am you.
